Dude, I'm So Sorry About Your Penis.

You know what they say: the bigger the rattle, the smaller the saber. Barak, buddy, check your email. There are probably several offers already waiting there to help you with your little problem.

Why can't these clowns just get through their midlife crises by buying sports cars and chasing younger women?

This is making me nervous. I've been supporting Obama, I've even donated to his campaign, but I'm not okay with this. I thought he would be able to make our country respected by the world again. If we were to invade Pakistan, we'd be hated even more then we already are. He's being foolish and I'm afraid he's lost me.

I actually have to defend him on this. It's pretty well-established in international law that you can pursue an antagonist into another country. Now whether it was a real prudent thing to say is another question...

I'm not sure how to feel about this assertion. Part of me feels it is right on and part is just tired of hearing about military action of any kind.

If it helps, E, I've set a very low bar for politicians. I'm going to vote for whoever will do the least damage during their time in office. I no longer expect to find politicians who will represent my views.

I'm going to disagree with you, Johnny. Yes, if police are in pursuit of a criminal and he steps over the border into Mexico, the police can continue pursuit despite the fact that they are leaving their jurisdiction. If, however, the cops lose the trail and then read in the newspaper that he turned up in Mexico, it's a whole different kettle of fish. At that point, he is the responsibility of the Mexican authorities. If we want him, we have to ask them to collect him and send him back, no matter how justified we think we might be in going after him. That's the whole point of extradition treaties and whatnot. This isn't a "hot pursuit" situation by any stretch of the imagination.

Natalie, I think it comes down to the very basic question of whether we are a nation of laws or not. He just came down on the side of "not".

Well, regardless of how you feel about Obama's statement, the fact that the White House's reaction played cheerleader for the current administration in Pakistan and their weak-ass, pathetic, two-faced, fence-sitting attempts to deal with terrorists in their own country is pretty fucking hilarious.

I love the way they fall all over themselves to defend colossal screw-ups until long after it has become painfully obvious to everyone else that they aren't fooling anyone.

That's the best.
