Thanks, everyone. I was torn about whether I should post this or not.
I nearly deleted it when I remembered that my original plan for the day was to just post a link to dayofsilence.org, but when I came back natalie had already posted her comment and I changed my mind, because she expressed exactly the reaction I had hoped for. It was the reaction I had when I thought of it.
Black humor for a black day... if we can't laugh on the gallows, where can we laugh?
The saddest thing about it is that I hadn't even seen yesterday's headlines before I posted it.
